more children in Syria.
The Right Honorable
Former 2nd Viscount of Stansgate, Tony Benn is a
retired British Labour Party politician who was
a Member of Parliament (MP) for 50 years
and a Cabinet Minister .
We are honored to have him as part of our team.
Our youngest Patron of Honor, 4 year old Omar has become
the symbol of innocence of the Syrian revolution.
At the age of 3 Omar's mother was killed and his father
was imprisoned by regime forces, that's when Omar took
to the stage to vent his anger.
Omar suffers from a liver disease and lives in Syria with
his uncle, who told us that Omar was ecstatic to become
Atfal's patron of honor.
His angelic voice has reached the hearts of millions of
Syrians and his story of struggle and loss is but one
example of the life of a child in Syria today.
